On the spree of 'let's try this out, that and maybe that too', I'm missing reading books. These are the books that I've on my coffee table. I keep moving them with me. I read them when I feel like taking a break or find refuge.
Yes, I've not been able to finish 'Becoming'.
I'm reading the part where both of them are preparing themselves and their lives around the presidential elections.
This year the Republican president is being challenged by Democratic Party nominee Joe Biden, who is best known as Barack Obama's vice-president but has been in US politics since the 1970s.
This is the first time I'm reading Stephen King. Though I do not like the genre he writes horror, supernatural fiction, suspense, crime, science-fiction. I love his way of writing in his book 'On writing'. I gifted this book ages back to a would-be author (and that she is today). I bought it for myself a few years back, it did not engage me then. Now is when I've actually started reading it and love it every bit. He writes -“I would write a little on my lunch hour, too. I suppose that sounds almost impossibly Abe Lincoln, but it was no big deal - I was having fun. Those stories, grim as some of them were, served as a brief escape from the boss”.
Man's Search For Meaning is a classic for me, keeps coming back.
